What's this about?
Recently, KDWB 101.3 in the Twin Cities aired an extremely racist song about the Hmong community on the Dave Ryan Talk Show that was performed by a man named Steve O. The Asian Pacific American Coalition (APAC) of Hamline University is interested in inviting KDWB to discuss and open dialogue about this incident. Please sign this campaign if you would be interested in attending a forum where KDWB representatives would be present and available to discuss their side of this situation.Here is a link to a YouTube recording of the song
Current Progress
APAC is hosting an event on April 14, 2011 at 7:00 pm where organizations and individuals can come together and discuss this incident and what action we can take together. We will also be organizing a letter campaign that will invite KDWB to campus and participate in a forum with the community.

This was so offensive. Growing up here I expect better from a local station. They need to hear from us directly about why this song is so hurtful to our community.

KDWB needs to own up to this. Totally unacceptable behavior for a station that claims to represent everyone in the cities. Start a real conversation already.
