Patients are often begin squeezed out of getting care they need because they reach the maximum benefit after restoring just a single tooth. Time for change!

Time for change. More and more offices are turning toward membership plans and exiting dental insurance contracts because participating with insurances is no longer sustainable. Local AADOM chapter is bringing in strategists to help facilitate offices in their exit.

Reimbursement was problematic before recent inflation. Now with 6-10 percent inflation and no meaningful increase in reimbursement it is awful.

Insurance companies have had record profits! While cost of providing dental care has increased due to inflationary pressures. Dental benefits should reflect this.

It should be automatic to increase reimbursement to match inflation. Things need to change.

The cost of providing dental care has increased due to inflationary pressures. Dental benefits should reflect this. Dentists should not have to shoulder the loss alone, while insurance companies record record profits!

These fee increases are not only needed because of covid and recent inflation. Insurers have neglected to increase coverage maximums to allow for even minimally adequate treatment coverage for decades. Treatment increases like "3 adult prophys" allowed per year are simply offered to give the illusion of increasing benefits. Dental insurers should be required to offer policies and maximums that will benefit their clients (our patients) in real ways.

Dental care providers have been left behind by insurance companies for decades. Insured clients have paid increasing fees for coverage. Regular increases for dental services are long overdue.

Total agreement but reality of 3rd party, for profit payers (private "insurance(benefit) companies are deeply invested and protective of their private corporation self and shareholder interests. Nice system, huh?

They need to at least keep up with inflation on fee increase, and for what customers pay, the should have more benefits.

I truly believe dental insurance companies should, at a bare minimum be REQUIRED by law to have yearly reimbursement increases that at least keep up with yearly inflation.
