The legislature finally passed the new safety regulations that will prevent what happened to Kayla from tearing apart another family. I am overwhelmed knowing that 654 people helped push this change into reality. We will keep monitoring the implementation process to ensure these roads stay safe for everyone.

Too many young lives lost to preventable things. PA needs to step up and fix these laws now before another family has to go through this pain.
PA laws are way too soft on these drivers. I lost a cousin the same way. When will they ever learn???
Enough is enough. Drivers need to take responsibility. Stricter laws needed ASAP.
My heart goes out to her family. driving under the influence is never okay and there should be real consequences for this behavior.
So tragic. Rest in peace Kayla. Something has to change.
