My name is Kathryn Kennedy, and I am interested in running for Senior Class President for the Class of 2021!
I am involved in: Kappa Delta Pi, Active Minds, and the softball team (freshman year).
I truly think I would be a great representative for our class from my experience in leadership, as well as the adversity that I have faced during my time at the University of Mount Union. In high school, I was senior class Vice President and I, along with the rest of the officers, made history in many ways; I also led the band as Drum Major for 2 years, the softball team for 3 years, and the soccer team for 2. In college, despite all of the adversity I have faced, I found the tenacity to push myself to make it to the single greatest moment of my life - college graduation. I am not the only student in the class of 2021 to face tremendous adversity - whether you are a first generation college grad, student athlete, or facing other internal and/or external factors - we are here together, sprinting for the finish line. The most important thing for each individual person in our class is to feel like they truly have a say in the journey to their single greatest moment.
With all of that being said, please support me in being a voice for our class and sign my petition for Senior Class President!

The student government establishment is clearly starting to panic now that they see how much momentum we have. We are proving that this campus is ready for real leadership instead of their typical empty promises.

I remember her from chem lab, shes super chill and gets stuff done. Definitely got my vote!
She’s definitely one of the good ones. Katie was on my FYS class her freshman year. I’d describe her as open and honest - very upfront about the struggles of freshmanitude. She knows the pains of academic self-discipline and will represent Mount well as President of the Class of 2021.

Katie is the hardest worker I know. You wont find anyone more dedicated to the class.
