Reference: Shooting Death of Mr. Dhirubhai Karsaliya of 631 Crest Ridge Dr, Sugar Land, TX 77479 Dear Honorable Mayor, We, the concerned Indo-Americans of Greater Houston, request you to look in to the case of Mr. Dhirubhai Karsaliya who was shot on May 28, 2009 in the Ashford Point Apartments complex�s parking lot located at 4040 Synott (Alief area). He died in the Ben Taub Hospital on May 30, 2009. We request you for a thorough investigation to establish peace in our community. Our major concerns are: He was on a business visit in the northwest Houston area. How and why he was found in that apartment complex in the Alief area, as he had no business or friends in that apartment complex. Who might have done that heinous act of violence What could be the motive Is the murderer apprehended Are there any other circumstances or community incidents which could trigger this How the whole incident might have happened He was a devout Hindu, peace loving and a law-abiding citizen. How could it happen to such a person How can we as a community avoid these kinds of incidents What should we inform to our community members and citizens in general What reassurances can we provide to calm their disturbed minds as a result of this incident We request you to look into this incident and give a high priority to resolve the mystery surrounding it.
