The stories coming out of Amgaachi and Pokharia remind me every day why this fight for tribal land rights is about more than just resources. I am spending my time documenting these reports of state repression to ensure the proper authorities cannot look the other way.

Seeing this kind of backing reminds me why my own relatives in Dumka refuse to give up their ancestral home. The momentum behind this movement gives me real hope that the suffering of our people will finally be seen by those in power.

This is totally wrong. Jharkhand belongs to the tribes. Stop the project now.
Leave these poor people alone!!! They just want to live on their own land in peace. Shame on the police for doing this to them.
Greedy corporations ruining lives yet again. Justice for the Dumka people.
So heartbreaking to see this happen to people who have nothing. They are just trying to keep their homes. Why is no one listening?
Stop stealing land from the Adivasis. They were there first and the government has no right to just kick them out for a power plant.

The 5th Schedule exists for a reason. Quit violating the constitution and the rights of these villagers.
