Treasure Island is one of only two Pinellas County beach communities where it is legal to consume alcohol on the sand. The mayor of Treasure Island wants to ban alcohol and has called an emergency meeting of the City Commission to do so tomorrow night. There are rules already in effect such as no bottles, underage drinking (obviously), littering, and parking regulations; don't take away our Kultweisers too!
