Dear President Obama,

As Christians we are called to be good stewards of the earth. We strive to do this by reducing pollution and working for a just and fair energy system.

We have a new vision for our energy system- one that is guided by our love for God, and by justice, mercy, and stewardship.

WE CAN reduce our carbon emissions, replace our dependency on foreign oil and coal with clean and renewable energy, and protect God's creation and all who depend on it. We must begin this transition now.

God created a wonderful and diverse creation. We call on you to join us in protecting it.
