Someone shouldn't serve life in prison for a murder they didn't commit. Being a teenager sometimes involves foolish mistakes and bad friends, but life in prison ? I don't think so .. FREE JUSTIN !!!!!

I don't think anyone should be serving life in prison for a murder they didn't commit. I hope somehow he gets lucky and can be released and hopefully have another chance at life.

I do not condone Justin's inaction but I also think it is inhumane to punish him to the same degree as the one who pulled the trigger.

I think a life sentence is too much, he should have another chance because his mistake was to be with the wrong people. I believe that the person that kill should have the worst punishment, I think he all ready had enough time in prison. I feel for him I don't think he should be there anymore. I will be preying for you to get out an for your family I can't stop thinking about your mother and your father I have 2 kids and it hurts to think that they can be in the wrong place @the wrong time and ruin their life's. I believe that this is what happen to Justin Granger.
As a Unitarian Universalist, I hold the inherent worth and dignity of every person sacred. A life sentence without the possibility of parole should never be automatic, and a civilized society should never stamp a person beyond redemption.

this really does make a person think. justin is so young and its true that one day of something stupid can ruin your whole life?? thats terrible. some time that they dish out is just horrendous, i do think about if it was my family member that was killed i would want everyone to suffer. i understand that. but they really should consider other offenses and age first and how much the person was involved. he might not have even known it was going down. i hope this helps and this man can be free one day, that is just an outrageous time and not being able to raise a family of your own is just sad. i really feel for some people.

I just finished watching "Serving Life" and there is absolutely no way that Justin should spend his life in prison. Just in the few moments we were allowed to experience who Justin is it was clear he is NOT a criminal. I hope he is FREE soon.

I believe in rehabilitation and the point behind our criminal justice system, however, I cannot support the idea of a young man who made a mistake (not a crime) serving life and not having a chance to prove that correctional facilities correct faults and provide functional citizens as an outcome. Justin deserves a chance to prove he is a changed man, to save LA and America the wasted tax dollars of incarcerating a man not worthy of being held, and of living what's left of his life honorably.

I saw Justin on a documentary. Having been in law enforcement for 13 years, in our state, he would have gotten five years at most. I believe that there should be uniform sentencing guidelines for all 50 states. The sentencing disparity across the country is ridiculous. I think Justin is too intelligent and it's a waste of talent for him to sit in prison the rest of his life. His sentence should be commuted.
