I came across "Serving Life" on Netflix last night (9.28.2014). The content of the film is not something I would be interested in nor would I find appealing yet without hesitation I clicked play anyhow. Unaware of what I was about to encounter I was torn by your story Justin. The laws outside of California are brutal. If there is anything I can do to help, I am willing. [email protected]. you deserve a fighting chance at life and I commend you for your efforts and strength in your situation. You are making the best of your surroundings and that says a lot about you. May God have his hand upon you in all that you do, may he shield you, protect you & guide you. This is a gross over step of the law on a first offender who was not directly involved in a violent crime. Guilty by association is not justice!

Justin is an inspiration. He exudes kindness and sincerity. I wish justin the best in his endeavor to return to the outside world. He would be a huge asset and has something to offer, which may never realized behind bars.

He seems like a sweet loving man who was young and made a quick bad decision his life should not be taken for this. But what's even more inspirational is the way he is making the best out of his sentence. He just really does not deserve a life sentence. God bless.

I recently watched Serving Life & I must admit that it touched my heart like nothing has before. But what truly got me was the warm and loving soul that lie in this man Justin. I know we all make mistakes & I truly believe we should all pay for our crimes. But what I don't get is.....how the law want's people to change but yet they don't give them a second chance to prove they can or have. Yet people have killed people in dui accidents and walk away with month's served time and a minimum amount of probation. "And Justice For all" so it say's in the Pledge Of Alliance, yet they do the exact opposite. I pray for Justin and his family. If there is anything else I can do besides sign a petition, I hope I can be notified. God bless u Justin & hope to hear good news down the road.
