It saddens my heart that the Louisiana state justice system is so harsh. I watch Serving Life two years ago at the age of 16 with my sisters and we had the privilege of hearing Justin graniers story. Automaticlly I wanted him set free. It blows my mind that he was sentenced for a crime he did not commite or take part in and there are mass murderers and serial killer out there getting checked into mental facilities and not having to serve any time. And lets not forget the others that get off scott free. Wow it's mind boggling. The worst part is that he's already severed 12 years and more time is passing by that he could be out creating a wonderful life and family for himself. FREE JUSTIN GRANIER!!!!!

I see that I m not he only one who watched this program on this Valentines Day. I felt so sad for all the inmates in Hospice and felt such a respect for those inmates, who selflessly gave of themselves, even thought it was painful to do so. To watch fellow inmates, family in a way, suffer and die. I think from what I saw that Justin is a remarkable young man. As soon as the show was over I just had to seek out more info on him. I found out where he is housed and I have his mailing address. I plan to send him a card to let him know that there are people out here that care. My own baby brother is in county lock up getting ready to face a life sentence and i have been watching real movies and documentaries on life "inside" so that i can see a little of what he will have to endure. GOD bless all the inmates. GOD forgives and so should we.

i was lucky enough to know Justin in high school, and I firmly believe that he was given a punishment far too harsh for the amount of participation he had in this crime. It is not only unfair, but unjust!
