This is absolutely ridiculous and I totally agree with the other members comments. When will the so-called representatives of the people wake up and realize that they should be representative of the American Citizens and not anyone else. Kutzler should be ousted and the school staff should be ashamed !

A pretty sad day in America when you can' t speak English. Our country needs to pass a law . Terri, I'm sorry that happened to you. We've got a lot of good professors but some with tenure get away with being biased. Maybe they should get rid of tenure, then some of the liberal profs will have to get out! like that, but didn't get kicked out. I'm sure you'll be a good nurse. Good luck to you.

There is no other country in the world where immigrants can get away with not learning how to speak the language of that country. In other words if you want to live there, you pick the country, you must learn the native language. It is time America passes a law that tells it like it is, if you want to live in our country then learn English or get out.

Kutzler, is not a Spanish surname. Americans, like this man, are equally responsible for the discrimination, if not more so. He can't relate to Tarri's problem, so he assumed her complaints were thinly veiled acts of bigotry. In reality, he is the bigot, in this case. Shame, on him for not even trying to sympathize with one of his students, whose classroom experience is being hindered by the way she has been ostracized..

With the population of Mexican-Americans exploding, I felt it was a matter of time before something, such as what Terri is going through, would happen. Even so, I am shocked. After all, this is America, and Arizona is an English speaking State, as it should be in all 50 States. Pima College's allegations are completely unfounded and despicable. I support you in prayer, however, I am attending college in Bullhead City, Az. and cannot afford monetary support. God Bless you Terri, and God Bless America!

I only know some words in spanish and some words in french. Yet if I moved to another country where either of those languages were the primary language I would be expected to speak it some what fluently. Why then is it wrong for us to expect everyone who moves into the USA to learn and speak english somewhat fluently, especially when teaching!?!?

There has never been an ethnic group that has been shown the exceptions Spanish speaking people have. When a person moves to a new country they assimilate to their new country, not the other way around. The Russians, any EU country, the Chinese, the Vietnamese the list goes on and on, ALL assimilated to their new country. What (besides the Democratic voter base they bring) qualifies them to side step all of the requirements that every immigrant before them has had to meet? This is a disgrace. If the faculties at Universities and Colleges leaned a little farther to the left they would fall over.
