Sarah Kruzan was 13 when a man named G.G. put her to work as a prostitute. After 3 years working the streets and being abused, Sarah killed G.G. She was sentenced to life without parole at age 16. Now 29, Sarah has served 13 years behind bars in California. But that 13 years will then turn into 20, and then 30, and then 40, until she dies - in prison. What Sarah did was horrible, there is no question about that. But what was done to her was horrible as well, and the fact that she has already served 13 years and will never see the light of day again just shows that our justice system is in severe need of change.
