This precious soul deserves love and attention from qualified, compassionate, and positive educators. The State of TX needs to regard this injustice committed against this child as a wake-up call and opportunity to train special educators and paraprofessionals on best practices for working with children with developmental disabilities. I cannot imagine any educator taking out their frustrations on my young son with Down Syndrome.

every child deserves to feel and be safe at school. The person responsible for helping you should be someone who treats you with respect and is your best advocate at school.

if what occurred is correct charges should be filed. Behavior such as that described is unacceptable and abusive.

Outrageous behavior, both the aid & "professionals" refusing to press charges.
