This is incredibly unacceptable. If anyone laid a hand on my son I would not rest until they were put behind bars where they belong.

It is well documented that Texas is one of several states that allows corporal punishment. And that children have died in the public schools as a result of teacher and profession abuse and those perpetrators were never sent to prison because they were protected under corporal punishment allowance.

There doesn't need to be visible evidence of bodily injury for the injury to have occurred. The victim doesn't need to be able to talk for a defendant to be required to defend themselves. This DA must not be up for re-election soon, to be so careless of his/her reputation for injustice. I pity the next victim of this school aide; it could have been stopped here.
