Going to Valley for 12 years I’ve never stood behind that schools beliefs as much as I do now. Muzzy has the right to pull those boys off that field in case of future actions.

As a graduate of valley high school and a tax payer of the district, I commend Coach Muzzy for what he did. As a mother to four BLACK sons who may one day play football on the same turf- I am appalled at the WPIALs decision and wouldnt have expected any different action to take place from our coaching staff.... then, now and in the future!

I stand with Valley. Our kids deserve a chance to participate in our community without be abuse by racial profiling and slurs!

Punishments need to be fair, and Ellwood city team and staffing that were aware or took part in the racial slurs but did nothing need to be held accountable. Yes I believe valley should not of gotten physical, but a coach protecting his youth from further harm should not be punished. The coaches that permitted their players to throw racial slurs should be punished along with every player that thinks it's ok to do so. We need to teach our children this is not acceptable and will not be tolerated!!!

I feel as though our coach was left to hang out to dry because he stood up for our children. I didn't go to Valley but my son does...again enough is enough

This is FAR from the first time Valley kids have had to deal with a situation like this and it probsnly won't be the last. Let's at least make some noise so the media knows WHY our kids are sometimes pushed to fighting and what they have to go through,

As a former athlete at Valley, whose name in the sports world carries a legacy behind it, I'm disappointed with the WPIAL. They as a committee have to do better to manage the league and it's players. Ive been seeing injustice with Valley, and other athletes of color for years now. It's disgusting. These Student Athletes sweat blood and tears for you. Value their hard work and good behavior.
