I support the school, team and this community we deal with enough prejudice that is untrue with the amount of good hard working people that live in the New Ken-Arnold area. As a former player I have dealt with it first hand to not being able to get out of our uniforms after a game because they where throwing things at the bus to be called names on the field and lastly to being stabbed during a game.

My son was one of the valley players suspended. He was spit on (in his face) and called names, he just walked away not wanting to cause any problems. When the fight broke out he was trying to get EC players off of one of our players who was on the ground helmetless. My son was the first one suspended by the refs. How much can these boys take? I know I absolutely did not want my son or any of our players back on the field. What Coach Muzzy did was the right thing and this whole thing is disgusting

I graduated from Lower Burrell, but my family is in Arnold and some went to Valley, My Mom went to Arnold. GO VIKINGS

The I fairness towards Valley High School must stop! I am a graduate of VHS class of 1970 and I witnessed the injustice and bad attitude that these farm schools have towards VHS from the 60's till now! WPIAL wake up and get to the real truth! It takes two not one! Punish the team that starts the problem not the team that sticks up for themselves!

IF this is the punishment that was handed down to Valley then the other teams coach needs to be suspended also. Be fair about it.

As a former Valley Highschool student, as well as athlete I know first hand what happens on the football field. A lot of it is despicable and unsportsman like. Whenever there's a problem Valley was always the first one to be blamed at fault. While we as a school may have our issues, but often this is over dramatized and has been put on us to bear. I've had classmates, teammates, and very close friends be victimized while being on a field while preforming an activity they have pour endless amounts of passion, along with blood, sweat, and often times tears. It isn't fair to these boys to be twisted into just another stereotype, or even the coach to lose his job. Do the right thing. Talk to the players, of both teams. I guarantee our boys story's will be cohesive as where the others will be a mix match of dishonesty.
