Racial intimidation should not be allowed.Valley did not fight itself, Elwood City should experience consequences behind their actions

Our kids should be taught to show respect but must me given respect. Regardless of income or skin color or religious affiliation when our boys take the field they are athletes....equal in worthiness of respect separated only by skill on the field on each Game day. Then they form a line...shake hands like men and return to prove their skills again. Never...never! ..should they have to prove their worthiness of common human courtesy and respect ✊✌

I am outraged at the unfairness against Valley. These boys were spit on, called racial slurs by a team who fought the week before with no punishment. The Ellwood City coach was putting his hands on kids. One photo shows them with one Valley player down being attacked by A few Ellwood City players. The coach for Valley did the right thing, trying to protect his players when the refs wouldn’t. Why is Ellwood City the aggressors, receiving the same punishment? Why are we allowing and rewarding racism by the white players?

It is a disgrace that predominantly white districts in the North continue to behave like this and get away with it! If one team was suspended so should the other one be suspended. Fight against this Valley!

You hear about coaches that harm their players, and here is a coach trying to protect them and he’s being punished! It’s not right!!

This has always been and will always be a problem as long as they continue to sweep it under the rug. Racism is never okay and should never be tolerated.

I'm honestly not surprised by Ellwood City's behavior, but the WPIAL's response to this was surprising. In this new age of liberal equality and justice, I figured they'd punish everybody just to avoid something like this. At either rate I hope Valley gets justice and Ellwood City gets punished to the point that they join uthe rest of us in the 21st century.

This is crap! Elwood city was on our sideline.... after they were spitting on our black players it makes me more than happy that an elderly white man sprung to their defense and now he's suspended??? When Elwood started everything???? Way to teach equality!!!!
