far too lenient, they have to be given tougher sentences, because this will happen again in another home if certain people think they can get away with it

Absolutely disgraceful. These individuals should be made pay for their cruelty and brutality towards thesevery vulnerable people. They were in a position of trust and they abused it. I can't believe they will walk Scott free. They are laughing at the system. Only in Ireland would this be let go without a proper sentencing

This is a joke. It should have being jail for all and not one. and much much longer sentence. Special needs people deserve to be treated with more understanding. all the sentences are saying is YOU DON'T REALLY MATTER, crying shame. and it's sending the message that it's ok to abuse people when all you'll get is a slap and the wrist. Respectable Irish Poeple needs to put their foot down and fight for those who can't

I am a whistleblower ( 2006) and all the abusers got off Scott free. Ten years down the line !! Do we want to see the same thing happen?
