They can easily pay the miserable fines out of the pay they've been getting since they were suspended. Disgraceful miscarriage of justice. Hope DPP shows his hand.

Need for real change to protect our most vulnerable citizens. Camera evidence seems to be the only admissible evidence so that's the way to go.

HOW DARE THEY TREAT VULNERABLE HELPLESS PEOPLE WHO TRUST THEM!! IN THIS WAY JAIL THEM ALL. OR BETTER STILL LEAVE THEM IN A ROOM WITH THE RELATIVES FOR AN HOUR!!!!!

Yes, exemplary sentences should have been handed down to these people, in part to act as a serious discouragement to others who might be tempted to abuse the vulnerable.

My brother stayed for one nights respite when he moved from galway to mayo. Whatever he saw or sensed he definitely did not settle. I collected him at midnight. Thank God I did...
