This sends the wrong message. The horses were never Arabians and therefore never eligible for Arabian Horse Association awards. The subsequent owner needs to discuss any losses incurred with the Hatfields.

It saddens me that this has happen. At one time people dreamed of seeing an Arabian horse let alone owning one. The AHA has now become a joke and all the horse world is watching. Show numbers are down and people wonder why. Here is the reason, the cost of shows are out of this world. People work hard and spend their hard earned money to go to Nationals. The place where only the best should be. And once there you barely see 10-15 horses in the classes. An event that was once packed in the ring and the stands is barely full. it is about time the AHA looks at what it is doing to our breed and the people who own and love this breed.

As a Life Member of AHA and someone who holds the Arabian Horse dear, I am extremely disappionted to see these horses not stripped of their titles. It wasn't so long ago we got kicked out of WAHO for not eccepting questionable blood, and now?

This sort of thing should never happen. Not only are those involved with falsifying records corrupt, but the registry itself for not stripping those horses of their titles and awarding them to the true winners. Disgraceful, AHA...disgraceful.

If they do not have any Arabian blood in their pedigrees they should not be allowed to retain any of their championship titles.

I feel for the new owner (s) of these horses as nothing about this situation is victimless. But, it makes no sense at all for horses with 0% Arabian blood to hold any Arabian title. Period. All title previously awarded, regardless of the conditions of ownership, should be stripped & redistributed to the rightful recipients. Respectfully, C. Lollie.

All facets of integrity must be preserved...the AHA brand is far more important than allowing people illegitimate winnings...I really hope they contemplate the long term consequences of such reprehensible inactions....

A person knowingly registering an animal as something he/she is not should be banned for life from the breed assoc. they cheated. No excuse. It's not the horse's fault.

These awards should be taken away and given to the true part bred Arabians.. the person who sold these horses, should be banned for life from the AHA Shocked that AHA feels that they should allow awards to stand.. these are QH's not Arabians, these were Arabian shows..what is this saying to the many we hope to attract to our breed, that we allow this fraud and award them too !! Shame !
