To allow these horses to maintain any of their titles not only undermines the integrity of the AHA show ring, it also brings into question the decision making process used by AHA leadership. Neither of these are beneficial to an organization trying to grow in membership and registrations. Please reconsider this decision and remove ALL of the show titles because ALL of them were fraudulently earned.
AHA needs to make this right. Fraud should not be allowed to be rewarded and the rightful winners of the shows, classes and money should have their due rewards.

What are rules in place for if some people don't abide by them? What does it say about the character of the people that broke them - are those the people you want in any kind of an authority position...? Think about it.

quarter horses are quarter horses & Arabs are Arabs. Arabs can't show AQHA & quarter horses can't show AHA. It's that simple. Return the awards & strip the QH ringers of their AHA titles.

There are plenty of open competitions for all breeds. If it is a breed sanctioned event for a specified breed the rules should be respected. These individuals should also be stricken from the Quarter Horse association as well. Their behavior is a blight to all serious breeders and exhibitors.

it doesn't matter what the owner knew. the horses were qualified to be in the class. the real winners should be awarded their ribbons.

I am once again disappointed with AHA and their actions, which do not hold accountable those who would diminish the value of our horses. It is AHA's responsibility to promote and protect the Purebred and Half-Arabian horse, and you are failing in that task. Do the right thing and strip these horses of all titles, prizes and money won while competing under false pretenses. The owners, trainers and riders, as well as anyone else who knowingly profited from this misconduct should be banned from owning, breeding, or showing Arabian horses, whether they be purebreds or half-arabian. Do what is right for once, it won't kill you, and maybe the public will gain some respect for you.
