This case was handed poorly. Keep the lack of helmet out of the reason why not to press charges as well as sun in your eyes . Come one drive down tibbasse at that time . Garbage. What happens to keeping your vehicle under control , traveling at a safe distance. The state / city is setting themselves up for up pricey settlement.

The law is you can ride with or without your helmet...if you rear end someone it is because you are not in control of your car...that is what the law states

Agree! If the sun is in your eyes, pull over!
This has nothing to do whether or not Terry wore a helmet. Please give Terry & his family Justice. Do the right thing & be responsible for your actions!

He was obeying the laws. His death was caused by the person who rear ended him, causing him to go into the path of another vehicle. A body cannot survive that kind of impact, but by the grace of God. The person who hit him first is responsible for his death. I believe they were distracted, like so many drivers, probably on the cell phone, playing with the radio, although truth be told, it was the phone!!! What example will this set for future fatalities when a motorcyclist isn't "wearing a helmet"???? Sadly, many have lost their lives wearing one. It is time to give respect and support to all who travel the roads and enforce the laws, Mr/Miss Prosecutor!!!!

I know it was a accident but to blame Terry for not wearing a helmet, which law states you dont need one, is totally wrong.

This prosecutor should be removed from the office. It is absurd to think it is the fault of the biker because he wasn't wearing a helmet. I am pretty sure that having a helmet on would not save him from being thrown under a moving suburban. Would the driver be able to see him better with a helmet? We must Demand justice, it could have been anyone of us.
