It is undisputed that Jeff Patton shot and killed his 25 year old son. Patton was heard on an audio recording declaring a murder before it happened. Anyone capable of facing their own child and shooting them multiply times resulting in death, should be considered dangerous and a threat to public safety. There have been 2 other recent murder suspects in Parsons, Cleveland Lee and Bennett, both of which were behind bars from the time they were arrested til the day they hear their ruling. Patton should not be treated any different.

I believe he should not be allowed to roam free in the city. Jails are full of people that are accused of a lot less serious crimes.
