Please tread each case individually , let's not generalize and get to know the animal.
Take her to a animal behavior expert even.
Don't punish the animal on 1 incident ...

Sounds like the owners of Peppa have co-operated fully and done everything possible to make amends. Please give Peppa another chance. Bull terriers are NOT the monsters they are made out to be. PLEASE?

I am signing this as a long time ago a similar incident happened with my dog and the council wanted to do the same. Not 100% sure how my parents managed to sort it out though. Everyone deserves a second chance.

cats kill wildlife all the time, a responsible cat owner would should not allow them to roam.

This punishment is too harsh for peppa. She's an animal. Why dont you muzzle and cage all of the cats left to roam at night that kill all our native birds and small animals? She clearly comes from a very loving home. The council need to concentrate more on the cruelty towards animals rather than animals being animals.

Pepper is not a dangerous dog! She is a loving family pet who never has shown aggression. She has always shown positive behaviour when playing with my young children.

I'm sorry but didn't your dig break into the cats enclosure and kill them both? It wasn't a matter of the cats being out and all they were safe in an outdoor cat enclosure and your dog broke into it and attacked them. I don't believe she should be put down etc but think telling the full story would help as it seems like people are just blaming the cats owners for having them out when it's not the case at all. x

I understand it is very unfortunate this incident happened, but the cats should not be out overnight either, and is it ok for these cats to be free around our native birds? Be fair.
