I think that he should stay because he is the most amazing teacher that anybody ever ask for and that we shouldn’t loose him. He had put up with a lot of us and he would give up or trade on us Red Devils and we all love him.

Mr. Perez is a great math teacher, cross country/track coach, and vet. He’s done a lot for more than just us that attend Pickering High School. On Veteran’s Day we always see his face in the slide show. We always see him up and down the halls of our school when he could be at home or a hospital trying to recover from his health issues. Most of the students that walk out of his classroom can say that they understood what was being taught. Mr. Perez shouldn’t be fired. This is just the way he is, personality wise. Everyone that had him knows how he is. Even though the delivery wasn’t the best the message was still there.

Mr. Perez is a great teacher. He’s one of the only math teachers we have left at Pickering High School that can actually teach and student, and have the student leave a classroom saying that they understood what they were being taught. He’s done a lot in his life. Just like at Veteran’s Day we see his name in the slide show and he helps with the track/cross country team throughout the year. He also is going through a lot health wise. Just know that we are with you, Mr. Perez.

Mr. Perez has been one of the best math teachers I've ever had. It wasn't until him that i could finally understand what i was suppose to do when jt came to my work. My friend was doing horrible in math, she could not learn anything from her math teacher. But she went to Mr. Perez and 30 minutes later she came out to me and you know what she said? She said that for once she finallt understood something. I hate how people only speak of the negatives when there is so much more positive.

Mr. Perez is an outstanding teacher! He helped me prepare for the Math part of the ACT and then tutored me for my math class while I was in college. He is a man that is there to help his students with anything. He is basically at Pickering 7 days week, ranging from teaching kids, tutoring kids, Track meets, getting lesson plans done, etc. He does all of this because he cares for the students. I’ve witnessed people say some horrible things to Mr. Perez personally and it’s ridiculous. I guess through the years it has progressively gotten worse and worse. Mr. Perez always told me that my dad was a phone call away, as him and my dad served in the Ranger regiment back in the day. Anyways, this is absolutely is ridiculous! I back Mr. Perez.

Maybe we should stop looking out Mr. Perez and look at the rest without the team I know for a fact that the vice principal says extremely derogatory things to and about students on a daily basis . Or hell maybe let’s looking to Pickering’s curriculum....
