Shame on the City of Mc. Farland. I'm so glad that your family is not allowing themselves to be bullied out of their business. If the City really wants the land, have them pay a premium for it. Your dad has worked very hard and he deserves to be compensated well. Let us know if we can be of any more support to you.

Pay Alejo what it's worth, they have been around for a long time. Ask the businesses in the area that are benefiting from the parking lot to help make up the difference.

I have been a customer of McFarland tire for many years and it would be a shame to forcefully close the doors to a thriving business. It is hard enough to have a successful business in this economy but to be actually thriving in a small community for so many years is a testimant to their hard work and dedication. Instead of closing business doors we should be opening more to help keep our city growing.

The city benefits more from a tire shops as it meets the need of the people of McFarland and surrounding areas. A parking lot would be a ineffective use of funds or allocations. Please reconsider and take inconsideration of the true needs of city.
