A fair compensation is not too much to ask. The fact that they allow businesses to build and not have ample parking included should not be held against your father. He is a hardworking man that has been a full supporter of MHS sports for years. He deserves a fair amount for his property! An amount that will allow him to relocate and still exist in our town.

I am sure the city can find another spot to build a parkinglot
and not cause another business in California to shut down. This is a perfect example why so many companies are taking their business and jobs to other states.

This is the reason why small business cant succeed . Keep the tire shop and leave them alone . do not bother them no more . A parking lot will do no good .

This tire service is one of the best we have, They have given me good discounts & very good service. I enjoy going here, I would be disappointed if this business place were gone, especially for a car lot. Somthing here just doesn't seem right, Im sure McFarland can make justice out of this.

Not ok! I would prefer and easy accessible tire shop over a parking lot any day! Not to mention I've had my tires checked there plenty of times. I've always been happy with the service.

It is ridiculous how the city wants to take over a local business that has given to the community for 20 years and replace it with a parking lot for a large corporation who will not give to the community.

They should offer the owner a fair amount. All of a sudden they need a parking space because of the Rite Aid that's going to open across the street. The city should of thought of a different location for the rite aid. It's very unfair.

That tire shop draws a lot of business $$...don't think a parking lot will! Probably Riteaid complaining already...
