Well said. Yes it's awful but looking for blame is not the answer. If and buts.... If the young lady was not dropped off at a non bus stop. If she wasn't walking that way to work on a dark winters night. This is a public discussion and so therefor it is to air all views and that surly does include views maybe the family of this beautiful girl do not want to hear. And if that's the case, shouldn't have opened a public discussion?

The lorry driver is not at fault.. how can people blame him.. when she stepped into the lorry.. when true facts come out then you can all comment.. there 2 sides to a story and the parents are not telling the truth!!

Can I please ask,,, when the inquest has been r the family going to allow it to be public so all the facts that appear to be kept hidden can b heard!!!

the speed had nothing to do with it, she stepped out of a blind spot the driver couldn't see her that's why cps are not continuing it because there's nothing the driver could have done, i know the driver he done nothing wrong, if you step into a road without looking stuff like this happens, it wouldn't have mattered if he was doing 30mph because he couldn't see her.

she walked out blindly into the road the driver that i know didn't even see her coming and is in a really bad weigh about it he accedently hit her so why ruin his life as well the speed has nothing to do with it she stepped out of a blind spot it wouldn't have mattered if he was doing 30mph the outcome would be no different.

Yes you can sit on the fence or be on one side or the other, but if Martha was your daughter or grandchild how would feel. I knew Martha, and know her family and a speeding lorry driver should not go unpunished. A car driver and a speeding lorry driver combined, by their reckless behaviour, to take this 15 year old girls life so I don't consider that to be an accident.
RIP Martha.

I would understand if he hit her but he didnt the girl stepped into the side of his lorry so how is that his fault?? If it was my child that stepped into the lorry then I wouldnt be doing all of this. He is not at fault. Hence why the cps has not charged.

Yes of course he is going through hell aswell, the family totally acknowledge that fact.But the point is he was over his set speed limit and killed a child.Ask yourself, honestly, if this had been your child and you learnt that they'd been speeding, would u leave it and do nothing? I don't think so. If he had been doing 40 then yes he would still have to live with it but at least his conscience could be totally clear.
