Lobby for a new law to be passed to prosecute Owners for dog on dog attacks.

An attack is an attack no matter if its on a human or animal. Owners need to take responsibility for their dogs actions.

If those dogs had attacked a person, they would have been euthanized. Same should apply to attacking other dogs. Owner should also be tracked down by police and held accountable.

I am a dog owner and I have moved to a new area and fed up of people telling me there dog is friendly and is off a lead mine is on a lead and get s attacked by the so called friendly dog then they wonder why happened. There is a lot of dog owners don't realise that they are all capable of attacking.

It is beyond belief that the police didn't do anything to help in the dreadful event surrounding the attack on magic. It's about time the police acted asap to eliminate both the aggressive dogs.... why wait until they attack a person. The dog in the attack was a member of someone's family. Actions speak louder that words. Com on POLICE have the guts to treat these attacks as serious crimes.... instead of prating around in nail polish,high heel's or animal face masks. Get a grip and get the job done... no EXCUSES !!!

Responsible dog ownership is a must. This little dog didn't have a chance. I'm sure the dogs were running free.

Laws need to be put down on the people that own aggressive dogs and worrying others dogs and kill them in some cases.

It is disgraceful that dangerous dogs are allowed to roam free. There should be leash laws in the UK, and owners should be prosecuted if their pets do anyone (or their animals or property) harm. Are you seriously going to wait until a child or elderly person is mauled? As is said, DISGRACEFUL.

If an owner is incapable of preventing their dogs or other animals from breaking loose and attacking other animals or people, the owner should be held legally responsible for any damages caused.
