Recently a man was walking in an ally in a city in my county. A predatory dog attacked and killed him. Laws need to be enforced to protect all innocents, both canine and human.

Dogs not on leads in public places is a no no. Not all dogs act the same as each other, just like humans. You can't blame the dog, so prosecute the owners.

I am constantly worried about dogs off lead approaching my dog, who is on lead, as they could attack at any time. Something needs to be done before more are maimed or killed

This would be my worst nightmare. Out of control dogs are rife and it’s responsible dog owners who bear the brunt of other people’s laziness and ignorance.

2 of my friends dogs were also killed by a dog in the village where they live on 2 separate occasions. Police did nothing at all.

How awful to take your dog for a walk with your Grandson and then have to watch her being ripped apart by two unaccompanied dogs, who owns these dogs, they must live in the area, someone knows who owns them come on have some balls and report the owners, next time it might be your child that's attacked it did happen by the school.

Tragic , absolutely terrifies me reading of so many dog in dog attacks .
Owners of attacking dogs need to be held responsible and prosecuted .
It's a daily occurrence reading of horrific stories , I fear for my dogs safety .

The Dangerous Dogs Act is not working to protect innocent animals from aggressive dogs. We need another law to make dog on dog attacks a specific offence.
