We should not live in fear when walking our leashed dogs of being attacked and killed by roaming dogs of irresponsible owners. It could have just as easily been the child with her!

I’m appalled by this attack and it’s happening more and more often. As a dog owner, it’s something I now dread happening and dog walkers should now have to feel afraid for their beloved animals. Walking your dog should be a pleasurable experience for both dog and owner.

Some of these dogs that attack other dogs will no doubt have the potential to attack anything that moves including children in the parks ,so why wait for that to happen ,make it law the owners are accountable .

I support this petition, because I have two dogs and I get worried when I see loose dogs. I would hate anything happening to them or any family pet. After all they are members of our families, and should be treated as such.
