My sheep were savaged by 2 dogs this year. DOGS SHOULD BE KEPT ON LEADS IN PUBLIC PLACES. With all the new countryside access it is even more important to keep dogs on leads. Bring back dog licensing.

Dogs should not be allowed to roam free. There should be high penalties for this happening

The owners of the 2 loose dogs should be prosecuted for cruelty to the dog that was killed. It doesn’t matter that no people were harmed in the incident.

Yards from my house and just outside a school and apparently the police can't do anything! Does a child have to be hurt? What happened to laws about having a dog out of control in a public place?

This happens far too often and the owners of the dogs that attack just walk away like it doesn't matter. their dogs should be muzzled. Of course it is the owners fault not the dogs.

Something needs to be done, I lost my elderly lurcher to an attack by a mastiff cross that broke free from its lead. There should be consequences to irresponsible dog ownership.

Magic was a beautiful girl and this should never have happened. It was preventable. Dogs must be under control of their owners at all times

All dogs must be kept on leads to stop this .Designated areas to let of leads only at owners own risk, and any consequences must be faced.
