On Monday November 26th, 2012 in Springfield, TN Mackenzie Gibson was shot by her stepfather Thomas Bunn in the abdomen. Mackenzie was taken to the Vanderbilt hospital in Nashville, TN . Where she died a few hours later. The police has not arrested Thomas Bunn for the death of Mackenzie. Even though he has admitted to shooting her and there has been many calls to this house due to domestic violence. This petition is to make the community aware of Mackenzies untimely murder as well as to make a statement that this is not ok and to have the springfield police department do something about this. Because if the race of this man was different he would be in jail but due to the color of his skin and military status they have done nothing.
