Cox Branson have been belligerent everything I have gone there. I have stopped going there ever since they refused to see my wife who was pregnant. They made an appointment and wr checked in but no one saw us. When I asked when we can be seen, they said they doctor left and that we could not be seen. My wife was pregnant at the time and we were afraid she was miscarrying which she did but Cox did not follow through with the appointment. All the other times my wife or I have gone, they seemed like we were wasting there time and all they wanted to do was go home. The lack of care for patients is mind blowing. Do some of these doctors or nurses even have an actual certification or did they win it from a draw or paid for it online? The lack of care, respect and hospitality is too strong at Cox Branson.

My first daughter was born with moconium, and was in NICU for the first 10 days of her life. I told Dr. LeMon (Cox Springfield) I was ready to push and she told me to wait because she was not ready. The nurses put her attire on and she then began to deliver my baby. Once my daughter was born, without crying, and with a cone head so large a beanie wouldnt fit, I asked whats wrong with her, she snapped her head at me and yelled, "IT'S BECAUSE YOU PUSHED". I knew something was wrong but I had no idea what to do. My daughter is 16 now, has vertigo and suffers from daily migraines. Both of which I believe is from the Dr. and her negligence. This was 8-21-2009

They gave me an MRI that I kept saying I didn't want and didn't need. I was in the ER for what I thought was heat exhaustion and wanted to see about getting an IV so I would be hydrated. I had one dr when I was finally taken back to the room, and he didn't think I was bad and was going to release me but it was shift change I guess and another dr came in and didn't say anything about an MRI, but after he left the room, a nurse came to get me to take me for an MRI. I asked why and she said the dr ordered it. I told her I didn't think I needed one and really didn't want one and she said I had the r8hht to refuse it, and I told her again that I didn't want it or thought I needed one and she just kept wheeling me to the MRI stating the dr ordered it. Then after hours of waiting, the decided to give me a UTI test and turned out I had a uti, they had put tge hemlock in to give me an IV but never gave me the IV. Just gave me a pain pill and an antibiotic and sent me home. I contested the MRI billing, but was refused because the dr ordered it.

They told my mom a few days before she died she was just there for drugs. And dismissed her. And the very next day her leg was turning blue from blood clots. She made it about 20 minutes from our house and it was gonna take another 15 to get to the hospital to Branson Cox and she ended up having to be flown to Springfield and three days later, she died.

Cox Branson. Diagnosed with lung cancer in 2023. Completed chemo in Jan 2024 only to find out they missed tumors in my lymph nodes causing a second, unnecessary, but now necessary surgery. Second opinion (healthcare system out of town) stated the in fact the tumors were there in the first scans.

I was charged for a preventative screening mammogram that was supposed to get covered by my Cox Health insurance. It was billed as diagnostic but was my only mammogram done at Cox. They said it was investigated, I don't believe it was.

I went In for surgery. Upon receiving bills I paid them in full. 2 years later I am still receiving tha I need to pay. Yet I have all the receipts to back them up! My fiancé who was wrongfully terminated just last month is a witness to there practices and how they treat there patients! When he stood up for the patients he was told he was in the wrong. When he tried to switch departments for the last year they came up with a lie and fired him. Cox needs to go down for what there doing to there patients and there workers!!!!! There taking new nurses that arnt trained and giving them jobs they don’t know! Yes they had the schooling but there not ready to be left alone!

My husband wasn’t told until February of 2023 that he was at end stages of renal failure we had no idea his dr stopped seeing demanding we pay astronomical co pays that were never told to us at appt. We found out that he was in severe renal failure in late 2020 but no dr or hospital stay ever addressed this. We are now 2 years in to horrific dialysis and I watch my husband slip further away everyday. If we would have been told in 2020 something could have been done now it’s too late for a transplant or anything but death coming. This has destroyed our family as we now navigate how to prepare our children that he is dying. Wish I knew the lawyer for this because the amount of medical neglect we have experienced has affected us all but has devastated my husband.

They tried to treat my mom with someone else medical records. Thank God I was there to correct them even after the ER Dr said they were right.

My brother lost his life when he started questioning that hospital. But he was doing the right thing. You are doing the right thing. If a judge can not see that this is a system a facility that has this many come forward something has to be done. I would send this petition to the Attorney General's office and the Human Services and the Department of Justice and the FBI and whoever else. My brother lost his life trying to warn others it is time something happens.

My mother had some tests done. Came back she had meth in her system. Concerned since she never did drugs went and had a different test done paid extra for folical test. There were no signs of any drugs in her system. She went back to COX to tell them that their test result was wrong. THe nurse she spoke with siad it was probablyt an accident because the test defaults to positive on drugs I asked why she siad she heard there is some sort of money they get for reporting drtug cases. I know it makes no sense but I is a true story. My mom almost lost her job and her pension over the whole deal. She wrote a letter to the patient experience about it and was sent back a form letter stating thank you for writing we appreciate your opinion but that is not possible and thanks again and contact them again in the future but they would not be opening a case about the situation and it was permanently closed. The whole thing left a bad taste.

They told me I needed drug rehab. I never did drugs in my life - got 2nd opinion and I had a tumor in my brain. They should of cuaght if they listened to me and didn t just assume because of my address I was a druggie. They treated me like I was trash.

I believe this hospitals ER put my 3year old son’s life at risk back in about 2008. My toddler presented with left sided paralysis and loss of his speech ability. Obviously a serious neurological event and it took them hours to do anything for him. I sat in a in an ER bay with him for 3 hours before they even got a cat scan on him. Why? They couldn’t get IV started to sedate him. A hospital full of nurses and phlebotomists and my baby laid there unable to speak to me. Thank you Jesus for protecting my baby in the middle of their incompetence! He recovered fully.
