This is a petition is to give Kayla Vanwert the justice she deserves and keep her killer in jail until the outcome of her trial. Kayla,18 and Cathleen Boyer, 16, had been in a cyber -war over the father of Vanwerts child.
The cbyer-war ended deadly when Boyer arranged to meet Vanwert in a nearby alley to settle things. Both girls got physical but Boyer brought a knife to the fight stabbing Vanwert several times and leaving her to bleed out a block from a nearby hospital.
Later that night Boyer posted to facebook " Im wrong, I'll admit itand I'm going to turn myself in...but it is what it is at the end of the day, got to face the consequences..no remorse".
Since the deadly stabbing of Miss Vanwert, Boyers attorney has filed a petition in court to try and set bail for Boyer until trial, claiming self defense. We are asking for you to please sign "our" petition to keep Boyer jailed until the outcome of her trial. Please please we ask for your help to give Kayla the Justice she deserves and keep this killer behind bars!!!

Ive been following this from Tennessee. What Cathleen did to Kayla was horrendous & she shouldnt be allowed bail. She has no remorse & has to suffer the consequences, she said that herself.
No one stabs someone in self defense then posts on social media that they have no remorse. She should not be allowed out until after the case is finished. It's not fair to Kayla's family especially her daughter that is now left without a mom.
She should not be out on bail. She had killed someone, not only that but was the only one with a weapon so it can not be claimed self defense if the other didn't carry any weapons.
I say keep the killer in jail, just because she is only 16 years old to bad if it were an adult who killed another person there would be no talk of bail! Keep the killer (animal) locked away for life!!
She should have thought about the consequences when she brought the knife to the fight. She made her bed now she must lay in it. Yes it sucks because Shea so young but yet she is old enough to know better...
Let's get this justice for Kayla her daughter deserve justice as well to see he mothers killer in jail for ever.... #kaylasworld

This child should not be let out awaiting trial.. Regardless of what she said. She stabbed her several times. Once would have been sufficient for "self defense ".. Any more than that is murder...
