So a dear friend of mine has been deeply hurt ..I am beyond mad..my buddy Jude since he was 9 or 10 years old has be a part of our parades here in town riding with the emt crews (ambulance ) this year there was an issue with a bag of missing candy..and he was accused of taking it..he denied it and was called a lair..well the candy was found...now before all this he had called to see who he was riding with when no one answered him he called alot to find out..this happen during fair weekend...well he has received a letter in the mail stating he can no longer be in the parade and is no longer allowed at the emergency angecy. ...now keep in mind that my friend is a special needs person...he is now 32 I think..he is very upset and hurt..I don't blame him....he needs our support. I spent a lot of time with Jude while volunteering at the fire department. He was always friendly, curtious, and helpful. He is a part of the community, and everyone should appreciate his friendship.

Shame on those who are trying to take this part of Jude's life away. I will donate 10 bags of candy to the vehicle/organization who decides to be decent human beings and invite this man back into the parade.

Jude is a great person and member of the Lake County community. I've personally known Jude for well over 20 years. This is incredibly heartbreaking and sad these decisions are being made in what used to be such a tight knit community.

This is beyond sad. Jude owns his own candy business that he operates here local. Being excluded from something he has done for many years. And looks forward to doing. Having that taken away over a misunderstanding it truly sad..

This is ridiculous. Jude Utley is everything I love about Lakeview and Round up time. Please, please don't allow this to happen. I am actually shocked that any body at the EMT services would even do this. I stand for Jude Utley.

That sure doesn't sound like something Lakeview's emergency personnel would do. If the candy was found, seems they owe him an apology, not kick him out. My question would be "who" made this decision?

First of all Jude does not need to steel candy he has 12 candy machines around town.. Second of all I see and visit with Jude on a daily bases we are good friends. He comes into Jerry's every day and over and over I have heard him proudly tell friends and customers about getting to ride in the parade with rescue crew and he loves it and looks forward to it all year long.. He is the most friendliest, honest, harmless, person around. Why would anyone deny him if this pleasure? It's once maybe twice a year.. Not cool Lakeview. And we are suppose to be proud of this town?? NOT... God is watching and karma is taking notes. Don't worry Jude you have real friends who love you. I say we have a float made up for Jude and his candy business of his own.. You are my God buddy me I love you.... Jay
