These people that drink, take drugs and drive should have their rights to drive taken away for life. And jailed for a long time. I would throw the key away..

The judge must've been on drugs himself to give such a lenient punishment. That disgusting dangerous woman should be locked up and deprived of her gross habit. She'll probably do it again otherwise. Good luck to Josh and his family and I wish you strength to recover as best as possible.

The culprit deserved a lengthy custodial sentence having shown a callous disregard for those around her. This does not make us, as a country, look good.

We need our justice system to ensure the public are safe. In this case the judge has let down the whole community with a sentence which in my opinion considering the damage to this young boy and the fact that the defendants actions were know to be fuelled by drugs whilst driving a motor vehicle. Considerations for her known past drug abuse seem to have been ignored by the judge. This is a miscarriage of justice. A custodial sentence is fitting in this case.
