This sentence is an insult to justice as well as to Josh and his family. Two years for causing these horrific injuries is not nearly enough, and a suspended sentence is just derisory!

Very sorry to hear that the woman is back with her children. Surely she is not a fit mother. She should have gone to prison for a long time.

Not an acceptable punishment. she's driven by drugs so cares for no one. What will happen the next time she nearly kills someone?

I believe the judgement was wrong The woman caused severe injuries to the boy by loosing control of her car Drugs or drink it makes no difference

The sentence is absolutely disgraceful. It should definitely be a custodial issue.

So wrong. To get into a car in that state should be considered 'intention to kill' and be punished as such. What if her children had been in the car with her too.

This is a travesty..How can the damage/suffering that this woman has caused only merit that sentence.Having children does not disqualify her from justice. In fact why has she got care and control of children when she is dosed up on illegal drugs??

Get on to a solicitor to claim personal injury cash for your injuries, Josh. It's the least you deserve. Go for no win, no fee. Good luck and all the best, frank
