The Criminal Justice system in this country is an absolute joke !!! I hope her Solicitor Paul Gallagher can sleep at night, knowing he represented that evil lying cow. We all know she lied throughout the Trial, she should be retried for perverting the course of Justice.

Judtice needs to be served! This is unacceptable the sentence she has received so far.

She should have got a half decent sentence as the poor lad has to live with his injuries physical and mental for the rest of his life , where's the justice in that !!!

Feel for Josh, as he will suffer with his injuries a lot longer then what she has got. The next person injured might not make it at all. Prays for your recovery Josh.

A more severe sentence is needed. I hope this woman eventually gets what she deserves.

The woman driver shouldn't be able to keep her children if she is on that many drugs that she hurt an innocent young man who will bare the scars of this accident for the rest of his life.

I was very shocked at the lack of sentencing given. My question is why was it so lenient?

There is no excuse for what she did. The fact she took drug because she was worried she was going to be attacked has nothing to do with getting in a car and driving it knowing you are putting other peoples lives in danger, doesn't wear with me. Just relieved it wasn't a worse outcome.

This woman knew she should not have been driving after consuming an array of narcotics. We have a police force that she should have contacted if she thought she was being chased. She has been allowed to set her own law by the judge.

Poor lad needs justice, can't have people like that in a town where children walk. She deserves to go to prison for that.
