I live very very close to where this happened. He was not right or stable before this happened and I’m sure he is no better now. His mother used to come visit us, but I was told to never go to her house. Because people would say don’t go there because he’s not right.

I grew up in Sardis and my family still lives there. I remember this tragedy happening just like it was yesterday. I was only a child myself, I think I was 9 . We were the nearest neighbors to the family other than Riser and his Mother that lived across the street. I will never forget the sound of the gunshots even though at the moment I heard them I didn't have any idea that those gunshots would forever change the lives of so many and that a innocent child was losing his life. It is disgusting that this animal even has the option the draw a breath much less that he might get to do it as a free man!!!

I'm his aunt on his mom side. I fell that if that the man that took my nephew's life was a life deal, then so be it, it should not be changed. Plz he was only 5 and had no time to see life. Thank You.

For 28 years this has haunted me and my entire family. Not a day goes by that I don't think about this night and how it has changed my life. It has taken me years to get to the point of have some kind of peace. And now they wish to release this guy? Let's hope that we all can come together to keep this man where he is.

I have no idea what the pain and trauma must be like for the family of this young boy, and shot survivor. The suffering must be life-long, Im sure. His life was robbed from him. This man will truly see Justice the day he faces God. But until then, I hope he is held accountable for his actions.

This child was my brother and I never had a pleasure of meeting him but I do think about him every day! This evil man needs to stay locked up he killed several people that day and harmed many others not only physically but mentally! He doesn’t deserve to get out!

this monster needs to be keep locked up he took the life of a child that never got the change to grow up never got the change to know his half sisters my daughters and my niece was shot in face and has lived with this nightmare her whole life and still dose would you turn this man loose and let him live next door to your children or grandchildren he took the life of a child and messed up a whole family for life so he should not be set free the only comfort this family has to hold on to is he is locked up and cant do this again.
