Why would the involved parties be investigating this for themselves? That is unacceptable.

If he wasn't armed n if he was putting his hands up that cop shouldn't have shot him. No one deserves this.

Why do these so called peace officers have to shoot to kill, he could of shot him on the leg to stop from running, but in this case the video clearly shows him with his hands up in the air. These police officers need to be held responsible for their wrong doings

Sad to hear yet another story of police brutality, my condolences to the family. I believe someone else should take the case and disciplinary action should be taken in the officers involved if not already.

He didn’t have a gun on him . Both his hands were up as he was running . And even if he did have a gun 13 shots is an over kill . 13 shots at a 20 year old boy who was cornered and scared .

This family needs justice. This officer needs to fired and put in prison. Thou shall not kill.

I went to middle with Jesse. He always such a class clown that got along with everyone. My godfather was gunned down by Pueblo Police in the entrance way of his own home, so this feels too familiar. This unnecessary use of authority and brutal force needs TO STOP. Jesse was a son, a brother, cousin, friend, A HUMAN who the police department killed like they were hunting prey!!! I send positivy to his mother, and the rest of his family. Justice will be served.

We want justice for Jesse. He didn’t deserve to die the way he did. He was causing no danger to the people around him. He was just trying to get away. The Pueblo police department is fully responsible and we all deserve an explanation.
