If the families have already completed everything asked of them and mental health professionals confirm there is no risk of harm, let them be united.

Kane County Juvenile Court has systematically dismantled my family without just cause. Despite being a loving, protective mother with no sustained findings of abuse or unfitness, I have endured years of court-sanctioned separation from my children. Caseworkers like Ashlei Ross—who committed perjury and held no license—were empowered over truth. Judges like Kathryn Karayannis ignored exonerating lab results and constitutional protections. The State’s Attorney’s Office, through Bridget Sabbia, aggressively fought to keep my children from me, even after domestic violence—the original allegation—was eliminated. Instead of correcting course, they retaliated: denying ADA accommodations, withholding transcripts, and ignoring documented misconduct. One Hope United was removed after three years of damage, only to have my new agency’s reunification recommendations dismissed. Giavanna, my infant daughter, was burned in foster care while my licensed foster mother—who already cares for her siblings—was denied placement. All while I spent over $100,000 on attorneys who walked away, unable to fight the corruption. Kane County didn’t just fail my children. They buried justice beneath a system of lies, delay, and profit. **They need to be held accountable—**and we will not stop until they are.

I'm dealing with a DCFS 4 yrs.. my case has been sabotaged, my PD works against me. Medications give in the hospital I have had Positive test results. Courts says that Medications do not cause false Positive. My kids have been put through mental, emotional and physical abuse since being in the system.

The children deserve to be with their parents. It's heartbreaking watching them cry for them.

I have followed Mykel and Lakeith's struggles for a year at least. Have met them several times. Please reunite them with their children.

I feel like nothing I do gets me any closer to my children coming home. Instead they find some reason with made to rules or allegations with no proof to set me back. I'm so sorry for families that their children are being kidnapped and sold.

I have been wronged by DCFS. Hair follicle tests are thin at best. To keep my granddaughters from me based on hair follicle tests are ridiculous. I don’t do drugs, I barely smoke pot, yet I’m branded a meth user based on hair follicle tests, but no one asked about the handful of prescribed medication I take every day.

This whole system needs to be revamped. I live in New Hampshire and it’s awful here.

I’m an advocate for Mykel and Lakeith Ray and have worked closely with them in my mentorship program and within my anti-trafficking organization in which Mykel has been volunteering her time in with me and our team. They are both great loving parents and deserve to have their children back and taken out of the system. Children need their parehts.
