Mr. Scott was my teacher at CPHS in 2003 and 2006. His passion for the biological sciences inspired me to pursue a career in science and ultimately medicine. He was decades ahead of his time then with all too poignant lessons. "Every day is earth day!" a statement I still tell people every year on earth day as they post on facebook then drive to work in their SUV while the earth continues to warm. Thank you Mr. Scott for your inspiration and I urge those at MDUSD to reconsider their stance on such a fine teacher.

Doug Scott is, has always been, and will always be an educator that finds ways to teach science and inspire his students. I am a better person because if it and some of his lessons stayed with me while earning 2 degrees. One of them 14 years after I graduated high school. Anaphase away! Keep the. Teachers like Doug Scott because he cares. The kid earned an F, can’t change grades because parents are unhappy and principal’s ego.

Mr. Scott is one of the few teachers that i had in high school I still think back on. I truly believe that he is one of the few teacher that influenced me to work towards a job in the STEM field. Thank you Mr. Scott.

If the student doesn't deserve a passing grade then the teacher shouldn't give them one. If you don't do your work and you don't pass the test's' then you fail that's just how things go. Mr. Scott always wanted everybody to succeed. When I was his student, he took the time to pull students aside and help them correct their quizzes so they could get more questions correct so they obtain a passing grade.

We’re fighting for justice for Mr.Scott!!!! He deserves to teach the next generation! Mr.Scott we love you and we’ll continue to fight for what is right with you! You will not fight alone, we will fight as a team! No one understand that knows him and has been taught by him what is even happening. The district are the ones calling this upon him... what proof do they have? What witnesses? What allegations? Has anyone of these people claiming wrong doing on his behalf ever seen or heard or been taught by Mr.Scott, do any of them have concrete reasoning. No!!!! You are ruining a mans life and livelihood!!! Why???? He’s a good man, great teacher and isn’t that all it comes down to? Why all this??? Stop and do what’s right! Let him teach, this is inhumanity!

Doug Scott is a stand up guy. His students have nothing but praise for him. Why isn't the principal being reprimanded? Good teachers like Doug are rare. He should be admired for standing up for the truth!

I had Mr.Scott in 2012-2013. Literally one of the best teachers I had. And one of the few that kept my attention. So intelligent and passionate about what he does.

I do not know Mr. Scott personally but by the praises of my Niece's who did and still do believe he is the best educator they ever had. I saw the report on Sacramento TV and wondered how a dedicated 26 year teacher, highly thought of by his students, all of a sudden become a burden to College Park High School. It clearly came across on the TV report Mr., Scott is not the problem, look no further then the Principle.

Mr. Scott is an excellent teacher that fostered in us an excitement for learning that no other college park teacher could match. Class of 1997.

My Son had Mr. Scott as a teacher at College Park. He was one of his favorite teachers and felt that his way of teaching kept him interested in Science and loving his class!

I attended College Park and had the honor of having Mr. Scott as my teacher. I left high school knowing every single bone in the human body which I still think is awesome and occasionally useful. Mr. Scott is one of the few teachers that really left a positive lasting impression on me to this day. I respect that he cares about teaching knowledge to students willing to learn, and is not a babysitter.
