Mr. Scott is a brilliant teacher and a wonderful man. He deserves his job back because he works with all of his heart and soul to help his students learn.

Mr. Scott was one of the reasons I actually went to class. I cant even remember the names of my other teachers. I went on to get two college degrees. College Park is truly losing a staple of education for Pleasant Hill by imposing these unjust actions. Shame on College Park....

Me and my brother both had him as a teacher. My brother actually passed away the year I was in Mr. Scott’s class. Mr. Scott was the only teacher that year that really showed sympathy and understanding to me for losing a brother as a high school student. Not just on a personal level he is an amazing teacher. I remember more from his class than any other teacher in high school. His teaching style is so real and uncensored and that’s how teachers should be. He helps you prepare for how college professors treat you. Like an adult! Good luck Mr. Scott

Please reinstate Mr. Scott! We could use more teachers like him. Teachers that really care and love and put their soul into teaching our children. If not for teachers like him, then what can I hope for when my 3 year old goes to school??? We need more teachers like him!

don’t let a good teacher go it effects everyone. Him, the hundreds of students that fall in love with the earth and science because of him & the integrity of the school . It sounds like you should reconsider who you appoint to principal instead .

This whole thing -- from the clearing of Mr. Scott's personal property from the classroom, to recent acts of the School Board -- reeks to High Heaven. I hope Mr. Scott gets a seven-figure civil suit rolling naming every miscreant individually and bankrupts the lot of them.

Mr. Scott last year he was my daughter’s science teacher. He put a lot effort and he was very passionate about his teaching. He made Biology more interesting than any other teacher can.

school administrators are where the money goes. It is right to assume that it is also where corruption goes.

I was a student of Mr. Scotts back in 2009. I have never been an academicly inclined person but Mr. Scott was one of the few teachers who could actualy get me to retain anything from the class. I know he has made a positive impact in my life and the lives of countless other students through out the years, to fire him is an outrage and a failure in leadership to recognize an exceptional teacher.

my son who graduated in 2009 absoultley loved Mr. Scott. He held my son's interest at a time when not much else did. He is a good teacher. He is not a typical in how he teaches which is why the kids like him so much. At 26 years of teaching to do this to him now is increadably wrong!

Mr. Scott is one of the good ones, letting him go would be a shame. He cares about individual students and would engage us to learn. His class was on of the classes that I learned the most in and never lost interest. Not only is he a good teacher, but he's a good man.

Mr Scott taught biology at college park to three of my four children. The passion he brings to teaching biology is unparalleled. He should be reinstated. Passion like that is unfortunately quite rare in teaching

Collage park is a joke, both my kids graduated from there be in 09 and 2013 both had this incredible teacher. My 3rd child, we have decided that we will Leave Mt. Diablo before she reaches middle school. You gave 55 schools in the district of course we expect this corruption in your district.

You don’t stay for 28 years if you suck. Mr Albarez needs to take powder and let Mr Scott do what he always has. Albarez should get over Himself and not fire someone over his fragile ego.

Mr Scott taught my daughter at College park. I was very impressed by his teaching and how he engaged his students to want to know more.

Doug Scott was my biology teacher 20 years ago. He was brilliant at engaging students, and his lessons have remained with me for 20 years! He is one of the few teachers who was so obviously passionate and driven to make a change in students, and not just teach them, but help them understand. Doug Scott is a remarkable teacher, and he should be reinstated at College Park. It would be a great disservice to your current students and future students to lose such a passionate and dedicated teacher.

My son attended 2009-2013 and considered Mr. Scott one of his favorite teachers. He found him inspirational and authentic and shocked that he was fired especially for the grade dispute.
