Mr. Scott has been a teacher
at College Park High School for 26 years. He has been unjustly accused by the
administration and now they are going to fire him. He deserves a fair
and unbiased process to respond to the evidence against him.
We just hit 1,000 signatures. The administration cannot ignore this level of support for Mr. Scott.

The school administration remains silent on our requests for a meeting. I am coordinating with local advocates to ensure they cannot ignore us much longer.

After all of my years going to school, Mr. Scott still remains at the top of my list as one of the best teachers I ever had. His passion is contagious, and I credit him with the reason I’ve chosen to study and pursue a career and biology. He is a life changer!

Mr. Scott was my Earth Science teacher Freshman year. Although the subject held zero interest to me, his ability to engage, motivate, cultivate and inspire the awkward minds of 14/15 year olds speaks to his ability to guide and influence young people.

You don’t tell a man who has dedicated 28 years of his life inspiring countless students to just pack up and leave in 15 minutes. MDUSD owes the community a fair and diligent investigation into this fiasco. We want justice for Mr. Scott. Shame on you Joe Alvarez!!!

I personally did not have Mr Scott as a teacher at my time at CP in 1995 and 1996, although many of my friends did. There was not one person who I knew who didn’t love Mr Scott as a teacher, a person, and a role model. Many looked up to him and he was well respected.

What an absolute travesty. The entire school board and this disgrace of a "principal" should be fired and never allowed to be employed in another school system. Are we now showing our children that cheating pays off and is a good thing? What a disgrace.

Changing grades for a student by administrators is not acceptable, only a teacher who teaches has the right and knows how the student did in class. This is despicable. Doug has always been an awesome teacher who his students have respected .
