My son played for this coach and he loved him...he only has good things to say about him...Give him another chance we all make mistakes but what important is that we learn from them.

Everyone deserves a second chance. I know that if you give Terry Nowden a second chance you will show these kids forgiveness. They will receive a leader that has clearly learned from his mistakes and the inspiration that he will be for these kids will be priceless.

Why would you fire a "Teacher" that we the tax payers of Gates, had no problem with? I as a tax payer of Gates wants to know who has a vendetta against this coach? Why would you fire a coach that the kids love and respect? Why would you fire a teacher that the kids can talk too? Why wasn't there a formal meeting for the residents of Gates to hear the so called crime against this coach? You fired a coach for being human? How dare you. !!!

I have known these coaches for years and they are all respectible and responsible individuals. They go way above and beyond their duties as coaches because they genuinely care about the kids!

I have 2 boys that have been coached by Coach T and look up to him. Sports are what keep these kids in line these days. If you take away a coach that everyone, parents and players respect you are going to destroy these kids. We need to look at the big picture what it is going to do to these kids. That should be our number 1 concern. These kids were never put in harm by any way. These kids need a coach that they look up to and respect and that’s COACH Terry!!!!

My son looks up to Coach Terry , Coach Lewis, and all of the Basketball Coaches. His life has been mentally disruptive because of these accusations. My heart is heavy .

Coach Terry Nowden is an amazing human being. Gates chili really should rethink their decision. He’s been such role model to anyone who knows him, but more importantly to our children. Our children need a man like Coach Terry Nowden in their lives.
