Terry deserves a chance to bounce back from this. He is a good man and good father raising respectable well focused children.
This man has a gift and who ever is wise enough to open the doors for this Man will benefit
Keep your head up Coach T and your shoulders back, being between opportunities opens the door for bigger blessings.
On a final note:
We have politicians who we support and vote to keep them in office who break laws.

I’ve gone to camps with this coach before and he is a great guy and amazing at what he does. He doesn’t deserve to lose his job.

He is a wonderful man and coach and mentored my nephew. When I was in HS I had teachers and coaches come to my home for dinner and drink wine with my parents this world is sick and this is uncalled for.

He didn’t get fired for having a few beers he got fired for bringing a registered sex offender on the trip and unfortunately bad decision cost him his job. Too bad he’s a good coach next time ppl should wait for all the facts begore making snap decisions

Coach Terry is a man of integrity... he has his young men's best interest in mind... you don't just want a coach.. you want someone to build these young men up and that's what he is all about... he is a father..a husband..a son..a brother and a friend... this firing was PREMATURE and uncalled for.... Gates Chili you made a HORRIFIC mistake!!!!!!

The sentence does not meet the crime! Should there be a consequence yes should it be this hard no. You chose this man to improve your sports program and he's done just that. Because of a poor choice you'll remove him? Shame on you, Your loss

GC should look at this as a teachable moment and rehire Terry. The outpouring of support shall not stop! He has a community behind him. It’s ok to admit you were wrong. Rehire him and have a meeting so everyone is on one accord and move on. These kids need him! Look at the greater good than the negative. Rehire him!

Stop the insanity with playing politics and rules. Sounds like the coach had all good intentions and wanted to build a good relationship with his team for others to see. Nothing was inappropriate and all the parents accepted to have their children attend.
To often this district is portraying to be all about politics and no interest in the kids. This goes back to the child who wasnt allowed to bring her service dog into school. Enough. Stop playing rule games and start educating as a team. Just as this coach did.

Terry is a super person and while I do not drink any alcohol, most people do and Terry should be forgiven for what some might consider an indiscretion. Terry played basketball for me and is an outstanding mentor for young men who need a lot of mentoring. He should be retained as the coach of the G-C varsity basketball team. Fred Garwood
