The vile Americans are not satisfied unless they are killing something. Wolves or other animals or children in their classrooms they don't care. But if anything is done to them they squeal and demand justice. Well like the saying goes 'To get it you first have to show it'

I believe that as humans and protectors of wildlife conservation, they failed miserably at doing their job. They should be held accountable for what they allowed to happen or ok'd it, rather than save him, killed him. Discover the cover up and fire those people. Prosecute

A beautiful animal killed by simple minds. What a tragedy and so very unethical. Florida's FWS officers need to be charges with this illegal killing.

I am sickened by what is sacred, and suppose to be protected by those who care about wildlife!! It seems to appear that they have no heart after all and are just as deceitful as the rest. What has become of our world today that those feel nothing is allowed to be free, admired and enjoyed. Instead the greed, hate and cold heart chooses to hunt down the innocent and thrill in killing it!! These people are appalling and truly should be prosecuted !!

My personal experience with Fl.Wildlife officers has been that they are knowledgable in relation procedures and policies, but are unaware of wildlife and their importance in the environmentThey tend to make the rules as they see fit and if things do not go the way they figure it should go they do not research the problem. I have read a lot of historical dialogs authored by reputable skilled writers and over the years this has Ben consistent, especially in the PanHandle,Example being if you have a Fl. Tag on your boat or vehicle, you are more likely to be stopped then onefrom AL or Ga,The incident with the Columbian Wolf is merely a reflex of the posse of state agents well versed inHollywoods version of what wolves are/ suppose to be.Black and mean contrary towhattheBC wolves seri reality, Bynaturetheyareshy, reclusive and stayawayfromhumans,When hungry theyeouldreailycometoarawchicken supper and if so tempted by knowledgable officerstheycoyld havedonethisandsuccessfullydarted theanimal. the wildlife personnel should have contacted Seacrest and one of the many experienced personnel there could have made it to Chipley/RR St in 20 minutes, I have a gut instinctthattherewas a pool of some sort that someone would get the shot of the century in the Florida wilds, They did and History is not going to be kind to the fact that they eliminated a valuable, rare species in the wild kingdom.

Progressive states require wildlife officers, even the enforcement officers, to have a minimum BA degree in wildlife biology. What does Florida require? It's evident. This is the same mentality that handles the bear problem in residential areas: leave them be until a homeowner shoots a momma bear and leaves the cubs to get hit by cars on the highway. The murder of Chaco should make everyone sick and angry, irrespective of whether you love wolves. It is gross misconduct, lazy, and just ignorant. This is not wildlife conservation or management. Everyone needs to make their representatives in Tallahassee aware of this. I am. Maybe a little political pressure will bring about some change.
sounds like someone on a power trip.
