How can you call yourselves the "Florida Fish and Wildlife CONSERVATION Commission" when all you do is show up and kill whatever animal you've received a call about?! What is it that you do all day that keeps you from having the time to tranquilize & safely capture a wolf or black bear instead of summarily executing it?? You people are willfully ignorant, lazy, & pathetic. Your job is to CONSERVE the wolves NOT execute them. Florida proves to the nation, once again, what a backward, ignorant state you truly are.

There was no need to kill this wolf, as the tranquilizer was available and there was no immanent danger.

I am deeply saddened by the inhumane callous actions of the FWC toward Chaco and Seacrest Wolf Preserve. I have personally observed the close bond between the Seacrest wolves, Miss Cynthia and Mr. Wayne and the volunteers. The flood and resulting chaos and destruction left Chaco frightened, disoriented and he was desperately trying to get home to Miss Cynthia and Seacrest. FWC must be held fully accountable for this inhumane and unconscionable act.

This is just utter bullshit. The wildlife crimes you people get away with are pure bullshit. You should be protecting the wildlife, not going out of your way to irradicate it, and with our tax dollars no less !!!!! You are truly pathetic P'sOS !

Seacrest Wolf Preserve has worked very hard to create a safe environment to rescue and house wolves of all kinds. They are not vicious whatsoever and have many adoring visitors every week. I went when I was younger. It saddens me to hear that local bears are constantly tranq'd and transported and never harmed but rare wolves are shot without a second thought.
